the problem with a pole, is you cant see what everyone is bringing, i mean yeah you see a percentage of what people wanna bring, but not a list. what we need is a definitive list of what everyone is going to bring. so we can kinda hold them accountable. if we can get a sign up sheet with every kinda food we need, that would be the best idea. but just my .02 cents. any ideas???

Is there a grocery store near the site? i.e. quick run for forgotten supplies. I've never been there.

Ben waht you should do is make a list of things you think sould be brought. Have everyone PM you with what they want to bring, then mark that item off and put there name beside it and bring it to the meet to see if they brought what they said the would. If you want I will handle the food list. I will just need everyone to PM me with what they are going to bring and I will make a list and post it here.

Well, the second part of my "poll" suggestion was that after choosing an item(s), that person post what they chose to bring. So, choose a poll item, then "reply" underneath, and let everyone know what you picked.

The thread becomes your running item list.

And - is alcohol allowed, or is this a state park with a no-alcohol policy? If it's not legal - can those who wish to bring/consume alcohol get away with it if they are careful, and not stupid about it?

I personally don't really care either way - I'm asking on behalf of the alkies amongst our members (j/k guys) .

Yes, Jon, I was researching about it on the Kent Park website, but I am sure that liquior is not allowed. If you can't help it, then bring, and use at your own risk. Also, you MUST be 21 if you bring any, and no one UNDER 21 is going to get any. We are representing all of the Protegenetwork people here, therefore I do not want to have any confrontations with the law.

Alcohol isn't allowed at the Park, I remember that from last year. They really don't check at all, but is it really worth it to get caught and get kicked out. Not really. I am sure you guys that feel the need to drink can handle yourselves for one day without it.
