well you could buy a muffler on ebay for like 60 bucks, or you can spend more money and buy a cat back system. im not sure what cat back costs, joe would prolly know.

Catback and intake

Well I had my catback made at a muffler shop. All I did was find the on I wanted on the internet, got the specs from it, then went to a muffler shop in Lewiston and had it made. The custom cat cost me about 75 dollars. To where I would have paid upwards of 300 dollars on the I-net. Then I bought a muffler to have them add to the mix, and now I have a custom catback. The part that will cost the most will be your muffler. Like I said, you don't want to loose power so you can sound good. Thats why my car is not real loud. Look around for the intake, E-bay is a good place, thats where I got mine. I only paid 70 dollars, but mine was 1 month old, this guy wanted a CAI. Worked out good for me. There is a thread I want you to read, I will look for it, its about catback system, pipe size and the hole idea of a catback system. Well I will talk to you later. Hope this helps.

I agree, the tunable is the way to go. I have one also. The only reason I have one is for long trips, and my wife. She hates riding in my car on the highway, now with the tip she likes it. I think the sound is cut in half with the tip installed. IMO the DTM's suck, and looks real dumb.

Hey guys, i'm from Aroostook and I have a 91 323 SE Hatch, and noticed that you have something good going. I know I don't have a Pro, but basically same car with 3 doors :-) and most of the engine parts, chassis parts are the same. Just wondering if you guys can help me hook up with some parts or know of good shops around Bangor/Lewiston that would be a good low-price option for cat backs, engine parts, misc. parts. I know that there is a good junkyard in Fairfield that I'm going to be purchasing a 1.8 DOHC to throw under the hood and replace the 1.6 SOHC that I have in there now. Any help would be appreciated!!

I have a 5-spd, and i'm trying to see if I can scrounge up a 1.8 tranny to go in with the 1.8 motor. I already talked to the guy at BillsAutoSalvage and it's going to be $600 for the motor shipped to wherever I can put it in. I'm hoping i'm not going to have to change the ECU and wiring loom but i'm sure I will. I just want to make this car a Honda EATER!!! You guys have all got really nice cars and mine's gonna need some work. The engine I have now has got almost 240K miles!!! Do any of you guys no where there might be an LX 91-94 that someone might be parting out? I'd like to do the disc brake conversion cuz i really don't like the looks of the drums! Well, keep me informed and let me know if you get some stickers!!

I might be at the junk yard in Freeport later on today or early tomorrow, and if I see anything, I will ask around. Give me an email, and describe exactly what you looking for, I might find it.

Website Updated

Hey, guys. I just did some small update to the site. I have added two new-comers. Alex Waterbury and Ian Oakes. Both 323 owners. If you guys have any pic of your 323s get to me as fast as you want other people to see them. I also, did very few minor changes so the site is more easily readable.
Also, I do not have all of your emails. I want to have them on a mailing list so I could let every one know about any updates. Go to the site, and in the Contanc Us Section see if your email contact is there. If you feel that posting your email is unneccessary it is fine with me.
