This is an invite for those of you close enuff to the border. This event is being hosted by the Toronto Protege Club (www.toprotege.com) in Toronto, Ontario.

After discussing with some people at the WESTSIDE ice cream meet on Tuesday, we decided it would be a good idea to have an end of the summer BBQ for ALL TPC members and associates. This event will be called the "First Annual TPC 'Familia' Picnic"! Check this post for frequent updates!

Who: ALL TPC members and associates (including sponsors)
What: TPC Familia Picnic
When: Saturday August 23, 2003
Where: TBA (Prolly near The Beaches)
Why: A good social gathering to send off the summer
Arrive: Start arriving at about 1130-1200pm

The idea would be to have a 'Potluck' style BBQ. You would be responsible for bringing your own meat/main course for yourself (ie, hamburgers, ribs, etc) plus 1(ONE) dish for all to share.
Also, bring baseball gloves, frisbies, hacky sacks, etc.!!!
The reasoning behind having it on a Saturday would be so that people can have a good time without being all uptight about having to work the next day. It also gives the 'rummies' a chance to sober up the next day. People from out of town (or FURTHER away) could aslo spend the night and be able to return home the next day.
