Bad Guy: Hillard Mazda

I'm looking for a good guy/bad guy section and I don't see one so mods - please move to the appropriate section if this is not it.

Please DO NOT take your vehicle to Hillard Mazda for ANY type of service WHAT-SO-EVER. I took my RX8 there for an oil change on Feb. 28. Nothing was wrong with the car when I took it in and it came out with a rattle. I find out that the frame bracket was bent and a couple exhaust hangars are knocked up and out of place effecting the power band. This type of damage was determined to be fresh by an insurance adjuster and can only happen if the car is bottomed out, which we all know I certainly did not do. The only time this could have happened is when it was not in my care at Hillard Mazda. I explained the situation to a manager at Hillard Mazda who in turn was not pleasant to deal with and even though there are records on file stating my complaint of the rattle immediately after the oil change, Hillard Mazda refuses to accept responsibility.

My car is being fixed at Hiley Mazda in Hurst, who has been incredibly pleasant and easy to deal with. They are bending over backwards to have my car repaired in time for me to take it out of town today. Unfortunately, it’s being repaired out of my pocket. I’ve officially learned my lesson.

Just want to share so ya’ll don’t have to go through the same thing. I know Hiley isn’t down the street, but the 15-20 minute drive is worth it to me.

It's one thing to damage a customer's car, it's another thing to deny responsiblity. You're correct in finding another dealership to work on your car. Depending on the repair cost, I would consider small claims court.
Texas Better Business Bureau is a waste of time, as they have no real power. I attempted to use them on a car problem last year, with no positive results. Then they had the nerve to ask for a contribution.
Regarding the damage itself, if the damage is just bending with no scrapes from hitting the ground while the car was moving, it's damage from improper placement of the lifting arms attached to the lift. Bottoming out while driving is obvious, so I'm thinking they dicked up your car on the lift.
