Not an MX-5 mind but a Mazda5 given the Mazdaspeed treatment

Now this actually started some time ago but Car and Driver finally posted teh article to go with it.

A team of C&D guys took a Mazdaspeed 3 and stripped all the go faster bits (and stop faster and turn better bits). Then they stuck them in a Mazda5 :

110 more HP than stock Higher Gs on the skid pad. Shorter stops slightly less MPG
