A lil intro
I have a 2002 Premacy Sport, it has the FS-ZE 2.0ltr DOHC with a 4 speed auto tranny.

I have recently decided to give her a lil umph under the hood to go down the 1/4 mile.... my concern is how to launch it off the line.

Please i would really appreciate any suggestion. also and wats the best RPM can i launch at?

 

my experience tells me launching at redline and shifting at redline will give you the best times.

 

True for Manual, for Automatic Transmission I Push the brakes, REV to 2000 RPM, release the brake and floor it, I discovered that using the autostick or triptonic stick just holds you back, you are better of letting the autotranny do its job
