That CF filter is pretty hot actually. If I ran short ram I'd be all over that. CAI all the way for me though.

Why do you perfer a CAI over a SRI ?

Short ram brings in air front the engine bay. As far as I'm concerned, that air is already pretty hot, and defeats the purpose of the intake.

Colder air = more dense. Allows the engine to breathe better as there is lots of Oxygen to burn, as well as makes it more efficent (ie: fuel efficient).

Nothing like bumping up an old thread.

Was trying to find a Simota ST651 CAI but they're hard to find in Aus.

Anyone know a company that ships to Australia?
