PCV valve 2005 Mazda3

2005 Mazda 3 Cal emissions seems to be using some oil lately. I suspect the PCV valve. Any easy way to get at it? It seems like you need to take off the entire intake manifold to get to it which appears to be a royal PIA.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're right.

It's the orange thing, and yeah, you have to take off the intake mani to access it.

I hope that the engineer that thought THAT would be a good idea burns in eternal damnation. Any special tool for accessing the bolts to the intake mani? My ratchet extensions won't fit between the vanes
