no heat in 2.3 gt

I have a mazda 3 2.3l gt. Last year I hit and a rodent on the highway and it took out both rads. since then I have had a problem getting heat in the car. Temp gauge reads normal. I can get heat when I rev the car up you can hear it start to circulate and then the heat comes. I have tried to bleed the air out a thousand time and I also flushed the system. None of these seem to change anything. The only thing I can think of is that the guys fixing it ran to coolant line wrong some how or the waterpump is dying. The car has 277000km on it and it still works excellent . Could some post some pick on how the heater core lines are run. Or even better would be if I could find fsm showing the coolant system. Thanks
