New Found Glory
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself as the new guy. I purchased a Titanium Gray- 05 Mazda 3S with 5speed,sunroof, leather sitting on 17's in early May. It is a true Joy. I work as a mechanic and hope to utalize this forum to find out what is hype and what makes more reliable power. I have read many of your threads and look forward to chatting with fellow gear-heads...guy or gals. I Live in Peora IL. Peace.

Congrats on the purchase. I as well have a Titanium Gray 3 hunchback. What are your future plans? I do not plan to get crazy with it, but do plan to allow the kid to breath better - if you catch me drift!

So far I can see myself changing out the stock mazda brake pads...way to much dust. Maybe also some slotted rotors. I also want a cold air intake and am sure if I asked which is the best I would get 20 different opinions. For the first 10K I want to just drive and document what my MPG is troubles and where there can be room for improvement. That is why brakes eventhough the stock ones are nothing to scoff at, a little or mo money for safety is always good insurance. I will also change the lights for cosmetics and safety. I am sure HID is the way to go. Exhaust will not happen until next year. Keep in touch fellow drivers and give a nod out to fellow Mazda's old and new pass it on. Kindness and unleash the demons in safe places.
