Greetings Mazda3 enthusiasts! I have been optimizing throttle bodies for the Mazda6 for awhile now and thought I would check if this part could also benefit the Mazda3 2.3L. This is a relatively low cost mod that really helps throttle response and feels like it adds several HP. (Dyno's pending...) Can anyone confirm if the 2.3L TB looks like this:


This is an optimized 60mm (stock bore) TB for the Mazda6 2.3L

If the TBs look close in appearance and the connections and measurements are the same, I would be happy to work on a loaner / test-fit for a Mazda3 if anyone is interested. There is more information on the optmized/bored throttle bodies posted here:
