Hello all.

Hi there, newbie here.

Just got a 2005 1.6L Mazda 3 TS2 and it has come with problems. Broken strut springs both front end ones. Fixed one side gonna do the other no problem. Brakes feel spongy, going to bleed them (spent 3 days trying to remove the two front seized/rounded bleed nipples) Got the new ones on now so that's fine.

The main issue is intermittently, the car will fire up but feel like it aint running on all 4s, sometimes throws an P030? I think it was 04 code tried to get it back up earlier on but it didn't throw any codes, just went rough then went smooth, then ran rough again then stayed smooth.. I'm hoping it's the spark plugs. Will be replacing all 4 plugs Monday, just wondered if anyone else has had this. It's just weird how it will run smooth for a while then run like ***** and then run smooth again for ages. I'm swayed more towards coils as I had a Fiat Panda that did similar things.. And it ended up being a faulty coil pack.

Also did anyone else have to really get used to the really sensitive accelerator and really high full on clutch bite?.. I've been driving a 2L diesel Mondeo so might just be that I'm not used to it but I'm crapping my self for a hill start in it lol.

I might add to this, that the ABS light is on. Just read a post on here regarding brake problems and was wondering if that had anything to do with it?.
