Difference?

Has anyone noticed any difference in power or fuel economy when they put on a CAI or cat back exaust?

I'm getting my CAI next week. After that I'll be able to tell you about throttle response and maybe even fuel economy, but there has to be someone on this site that has actually Dyno'd it. At least that's my hope.

You should notice a decent increase in horsepower and throttle response. You probably wont notice much of a difference in MPG. You should pic up a couple of MPG but the new found power will probably cause you to drive harder which will cut out the added mileage.

It wont be a mind blowing change in power but a couple of horsepower will help out alot.

difference

yeah, i have an AEM CAI, and Borla Cat-Back Exhaust system. I didnt notice a great deal of horsepower gain (even though every little bit helps); however, i did have much greater throttle response, as the guy earlier said. of course, i have a 5-speed, so i dont know about effects on autos. oh yeah, and it sounds bad ***. not like a riced out bumble bee, its a deep mellow sound, i recommend.
