I have a 2006 Mazda 3s w/ auto tranny. Bought the girl new, but now she's pushing 110k. Recently noticed engine shudder while on the throttle. Most noticeable when getting back on the gas to maintain speed or pass on the freeway. If I let off the pedal and coast, it goes away. Any ideas from experts? I've got a few ideas, but wondering if anyone can relate or give input.

I'm currently having the same problem, and I've been told its the # 3 motor mount.

Thanks for the info. I looked at the mount tonight, and it looks like there has def been fluid leaking from the mount. Is mount #3 located above the passenger side wheel well, and slightly underneath the fluid tank? What is your plan of action? Any warnings to share?

that is the #3 mount, and i'm sure there was a recall on that as well... not sure what year, but it's on the forum here somewhere - it called out the oil leaking out of the mount as the failure.
