Question 1997 323 V6 Electrics Questions

The reversing light on my 1997 323 ZXi (V-6) has stopped working. The bulb is OK and the connections in the bulb holder are cleaned up and sound.

Which fuse is this on please? Probably an answer from a 4 cylinder model would be relevant.

My RHD Mazda has the fuse box by the drivers right foot, probably by the passengers right foot in the US.

BTW I have a multimeter and am an MIEE.

There is no voltage on the bulb with ignition on and reverse engaged.

The gearbox switch switches OK, the bulb is OK and the earth side of the circuit from the bulb is continuous to the body (not just to the rear door). I have yet to test voltage at the gearbox switch and continuity from switch to lamp but first it would be good to check the right fuse.

Just in case has anyone had a similar problem........
