I am having this wierd problem, where my dash lights go off, all the gauges go all the way up then all the way down, then back to where they were and the lights come back on. The engine doesnt die, the stereo continues to work, the outside lights stay on. Its only happend about 8 times. The dealership cant find the problem and has never heard of anything like it. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, the exact thing happened to my baby....and the reason and remedy????

LOOSE Battery connections....
Just tighten those babies up and problem solved.

When I first got my 3 I installed my subs and forgot to tighten my battery terminals....my bad! So, one night at the bank the exact symptoms you described happened but the difference was my car would not start so I got a friend to get me some tools and discovered the terminals were not tight.

Hope, this solves your problem. It did to mine and hasn't happend since.

Sounds good & thanks. I recently had a new changer put in, maybe they didn't tighten the connections. Thanks again.
