I was just cleaning my car when I decided to look underneath it in the near under the trunk when I noticed light coming through. I stuck my hand through it and looked where my hand was and was shocked. Right above the license plate holder there is a hole. Is this normal? Is this something I should be worried about? Should I call up the dealership who sold me the car and complain? Does anyone else have this on their Mazda 3? I have a 2007 Mazda 3 S Sport Sedan if that helps.

I'd suggest going back to the mazda dealer and looking at other 3 sedan models and seeing what they look like first before raising a stink.

 

All mazdas have that hole/gap on the rear bumper above the lic. plate where the lights are. Even my brother's '92 MX3.
