Friend of mine had a Focus and all he did was remove a fuse. But then it wont show you how fast/slow you're going. I don't know how it works with MZ3 but I may be interested...

You say he disabled the speedometer and then he couldn't tell how fast he was going?

*amazed voice* Really?

It stops counting the mileage and showing the current speed
Again, he had a focus not mazda so I don't know how it works on MZ3

wheel speed sensors are used to calculate mileage on newer models...the speedo may not have the desired responsibility.

I was thinking about this on my drive home last night.

We'd all like to have our warranty longer and I'm generally not opposed to "sticking to the man" ie: name less faceless jumbo corporations that would kill you just to make an extra $20.

But what about when you go to sell the vehicle. I assume you are not going to keep it forever. The poor chum you sell it too will have no idea that the vehicle has an extra 20 or 30 thousand miles on the engine shocks, brakes Etc.

Stop thinking about yourself and start thinking about others. If we could all do that, the world would be a better place.
