hey everyone new to.the site, and I need some help I have a 2004 mazda 3 withthe 2.3 engine. I noticed one day a ticking sound and checked the oil, it was low and the noise continued. someonesaid its a rod knocking but wouldn't that noise start as soon as the car was started? if I start the car it will idle normal for a few minutes then the ticking will start, and the ticking increases with acceleration. I believe the car is burning oil or something too because the oil was changed not to long before I noticed the sound. my car has been sitting for approximately 7 months and its time to get this fixed!! any help would be greatly appreciated
