I just bought my Mazda 3 5-door yesterday. Does anyoen have any words of advice for a new owner? Cool things the car does the dealer may not have shown me? Easy engine mods? Things to watch out for or expect? My car is dark gray, has a sunroof and a 6 CD in dash changer, abs, the side curtain airbags, no leather, the front and rear spoilers. Two things I would like to know are can you make the in dash CD palyer shuffle through all the CDs or will it only shuffle the songs on the one that is playing? The other thing is if I don't have a MD player, the lower driverside **** doesn't seem to do anything other then let me know the CD player is loaded. is this correct? Thank you for any tips.

My best tip to you is, drive, drive drive!! You just bought the most fun to drive car under 20,000 bucks...enjoy it and take care of it!! Do a good break-in on it, give your first oil change at 1000 and study your user manual...lots of good info in there on things i didnt know about the car.

If you are on the radio you can push in this button and hold for a few seconds and it will begin searching through all the radio stations for the 6 that come in the best. This is really a cool feature when you are traveling. Then you push that button in to manuever between those six stations.
