Don't worry you aren't the only one I have the same clicking noise when shifting it doesn't happen all the time but it is really annoying. Also the glove box tends to rattle, and sometimes I have a little trouble getting it into reverse from a stop. The a/c on mine isn't the greatest either. I have the 2.0 model with 15k miles on it other than the few things I'm being picky about its a great car all around. I average 32 mpg no matter how I drive the car.

Thumbs up Love my 3S

Have had my Velocity Red 3S Auto sedan since last Aug. Two of my friends drove mine and went out and bought their own 3's. How's that for a recommendation. And they used me as referral and Mazda paid me $50 each. I use the sport shifter constantly, its awsome. Went with auto because I have to drive alot of stop and go traffic in town. Drive hard and fast on highway and take on 3 class beemers in slolum, but stay away from quatros. Watch your tire pressure and keep it at specs. Handeling really affected by low pressure, rear end can break loose. Have a bra on front, needed protection from bugs/rocks etc, and really dresses the car beautifully. Can't wait to see the 274HP Speed 6 quatro in the fall. Will drive, and may trade in.
