Talking Taking delivery tomorrow! MS3

Getting my first new car in over 30 years! (last new one was a 1979). Silver Mazdaspeed 3.

I'm looking over the site for tips on new MS3, and have a few questions...

1) do I wait 1 or 2 oil changes before putting synthetic in (100% synthetic - or is that partial stuff OK?)
2) how do I convince myself to drive it and not just keep it pristine in the garage?

It's a hell of a ride! Put about 30 miles on it, varying the RPM every 2 or 3 seconds ...

Corners on a rail, but rides amazingly softly for a car that Consumer Reports said has a harsh ride (we get that rag because of my wife, but I know how little they know about cars)

As I mentioned before, this is my 2nd new car ever, first in 31 years. I had forgotten how tight new cars were, plus the lovely aroma of New Car SmellŽ

Since I hope to be an fairly constant reader/member/contributer to this forum, I will introduce myself via the interesting cars (skipping the boring ones) I've had in the past.

1980 911SC
1973 Vega w/ small block V-8
1987 560SL
1973 Lincoln Mark IV (still own it)

Last but not least
1995 626LX

Maybe a bike or two...
1990 H-D FLSTC
1972 Triumph Bonnie
1979 Yamaha XS-11
buncha Hondas
