Suspension question.

I recently bought an 08 mazda 3 in september. I want to lower it but I don't want to void my warrenty. If I buy mazdaspeed 3 suspension will that void it?

no.

but best you have it installed by the dealer, if you to to ensure 100% you have no warrantee issues....

It will not void your warranty especially if Mazda installs it.

However, no aftermarket part can void your warranty unless it is proven to have caused the problem/issue that you try to get covered by the warranty.

Consult the Magnusson-Moss Act for more information.

That being said, you never know what a dealer will try to claim. But say you put in lowering springs and your engine blows up. Your springs did not affect your engine at all so they cannot void your warranty and not cover your engine replacement.

However, if you put in lowering springs and a shock/strut fails, that they could deny coverage on.

Yeah I use to work at a dealership and people would put after market parts on all the time and then **** would break and we wouldnt cover it, but I just wasn't sure if any of the customers ever had the manufacturs parts on it or if they were aftermarket and thats why it wasnt covered.
