Starting to Get Lost in the Fog

The headlamps of my 2005 Mazda3 are starting to yellow and get foggy from UV exposure and age I suppose. While I have found lots of alternatives to the OE HID units for the sedan, alternative lighting for the hatch seems a lot harder to find.

So, I was curious if anyone's had their lenses 'refinished' as I have seen adverts for and if so how it worked out. Or didn't.
