i have a 2004 model mazda 3 and when i get to 72mph i get a beep, (letting me know i am over the speed limit) and it drives me nuts. any ideas how to get rid of it? all ideas welcome.

 

I have never heard of this. My 3 didn't have that feature. Where do you live?

 

dont drive 72 HAHA right... i have never heard of this either. the only thing i can find is the rx-8 makes a soft beep when redline is hit..

i have had my three all the way to governor which is 120 mph by the way, and have never heard any noise what so ever at any speed. you might want to ask the people that changed your clocks.... other then that new to me.
