Question Seatbelt BEEP

Hello there..
my driverīs seatbelt has a problem..there is a point that it starts beeping (usually when i put my body a little to the front). That beep sound is making me crazy..
So, last sunday i tryed to get off the beep of my seatbelt...iīve read somewhere (maybe even in this forum) that i should open the central console, unpluggue the wires and get both wires together... well i tryed to do that but the wires are stucked in a white rounded piece of plastic...(sorry about the english, hope u can understand)
Well, when i took the driverīs wire off of the contact, the beep sound stopped, but the red light in the panel stayed on for all the time...
i would like to stop the beep sound, but i would not like to stop a problem and start other (beep off, light on)
please, if thereīs another way to take off the beep, someone explain to me!!
Thank you guys!

(and sorry again about my english, thatīs because iīm brazilian, and iīm not so good in english yet..)

No problem. Thank Wil, though, not me....haha. I did fix my seatbelt beep, but I'm too lazy to do a how-to about it. I think that should help you figure out what to wire to what, and will definitely fix the problem. No more annoying beeps when you aren't doing anything wrong, i.e. wearing your seatbelt...

Find the beeper under the drivers side dash and remove it from the car. Take it appart and cut the wires going to the speaker, then reassemble and reinstall.
