I am looking into buying a mazda 3 within the next 3-6 months. I'm really into the looks of a car more than the performance. From the looks of thigns right now, I'll be getting a new 06 black 5 door manual, or a 1 year used manual 5 door with 20k miles on it :/. I want to modify the interior first and was just looking for some good ideas. A good sound system, seats, interior neons, anything inside the car. Pics and links would be apreciated. Thank you tons.

Welcome, and excellent choice in cars.

If you don't mind forum hopping check out the interior mods section at mazda3forums.com. Lots of info, pics, walkthroughs, etc.

quantity over quality.....

Right now there's not a lot of custom Mazda3 mods out. Your best shot would be to buy universal products and modify them for your new car.

actually i own a mazda 3 and ive modified mine just fine
Ive left the exterior along because 1) It already looks AWESOME 2) Drawing too much attention to your car makes it more likely for ya to be pulled over.

Interior is a breeze, i have a dual sub system with a 2000 wat amp with neons. but from just sitting in my car u would think it was stock but its still beautiful, then u turn on the stereo with the amp on...lol but if u like all the neons and mod look, u can flip down the backseats! there are alot of seat covers for ya too. the shifter **** is replacable but if u wanna replace it, your sacrificing comfort. Just cruise ebay or auto zone and you will see

Accessorice! try the factory accesories, there are some cool (and Expensive) dash and door color inserts, plus shift ****, spoiler, mud flaps, "body kits" actually more like body addons, etc all very very expensive hahaha from your dealer, www.mazda.com plus auto zone have some cool stuff if you are into big stikers neons, gauges... etc
