Hey guys just got a few quick questions for you guys I could really find while searching.

1. How much boost is the MS3 running from the factory?
2. What size turbo?
3. What size injectors?
4. What is the compression on it?
5. What is the bore?
6. What is the size of the TMIC? and how much power is it rated for?
7. What is the clutch rated too?(#s wise)
8. What are the internals rated too?(#s wise)
9. What engine is it using?

Sorry for the numbering. But I will be purchasing a MazdaSpeed 3 in March (I hope) and once I get it, it will be going strait into the shop for some work. Don't mean to be stepping on anyones toes but just trying to gather some information. The best I can see we will be doing a GT2871R upgrade, CAI, 3.5" piping the whole way, FMIC change, Tune, necessary fuel upgrades, clutch. I'm lookin to hit about 375-400whp and i'll be satsfied.

Thanks for the help and please try not to be an @$$ about this I am not a noob when it modding, just new to the mazda scene and hopefully get some new parts out to you guys.

2) hitachi Warner K04
3) injectors, dunno, but its direct injection
4) 9.5:1
5) bore=3.44"
6,7,8) not sure, but i'd have to say that they are maxed out from factory
9) 2.3L alluminum block and head. (out of the mazda3 GT)

i'd like to say more, but i have to get to work.
i'll dig up some info on an upgraded turbo later on tonite.

and there is the upgraded turbo kit.

it puts down about 320awhp on the speed3, so gains should be slightly higher on the speed3, as you only have 2 drive wheels, not 4

^^ you mean 340awhp on the speed6

The only dude I've heard of running that kit on the Speed6 was having a horrible time with it using the stock ecu.. ran like crap.

well imma be working with a company to put together a kit and for eventual sale. the guy who is doing it for is real good and knows his stuff and is one helleuva tuner so i got good faith in him. Plus all the JUST about all the garrets and mitsu turbos that come thru houston are orderd from him so ill be good.

The engine itself...is this a mazda exclusive engine or does it share with the volvo s40 etc... and whats the engine name by chance?

It's a 2.3 MZR inline 4, not shared with the S40, which uses a 5-cylinder.

As for the engine code.. it's the L3-VDT
