Sirius install

I have a sirius unit i just got for christmas

i got it working but when i used the defualt fm to fm there is allot of static ....

so i got the cable to go into the aux out now i have more buzzing that changes with the rpm's of the car i have tried both power sources and moving the unit


any one have this issue

First off what unit are you using? Second off you're getting alternator whine from the aux input. Mazda poorly shielded the the audio input when they installed it.... I imagine just a cost cutting measure.

Buy a ground loop isolator. You can get them from radio shack in RCA-RCA. You most likely need a 3.5mm-3.5mm since that's what the audio input is. HERE's a 3.5mm one for ~$17.

Thats what i need !
the unit is a starmate 4
and it is the alternater whine
