We drove our 2010 3i from Minneapolis to Arkansas for a family event. Averaged a respectable 31mpg. Most impressive was how well the 3 communicated the lack of grip on the icy roads in Iowa and Missouri. Next year I'll definitely invest in some Blizzaks for the 3, but when other drivers didn't realize how slick it was and went off the road, we were managing the drive quite nicely. Way to design in the road feel Mazda. Now can you work on a decent cruise control?
