you could save yourself several thousands of dollars by not buying the standalone, injectors, valve springs, intake, etc...

these will be duplicates of what already comes in the Hiboost kit (minus the worthless valve springs)

V.S.'s are only worth the cost if you plan on running the engine above 7k rpms frequently and you don't want to float a valve.

First order of business should be to ditch the hubcaps and get an actual set of rims

Congrats on the new ride!

if you're looking for "next to free: then you're just wishfull thinking on any of those other mods.

I'd suggest making a REASONAbLE list of mods you want to do and start from there.

What kind of rims would you be in the market for? You gotta let us know what you like in order for us to help you.

I personally would say black would be perfect with the color of the car, and 17" should be plenty big. As sweet looking as 18" rims are, they're kinda overkill on our little cars, and they just make maintenance a pain in the ***. Your speedometer would be off, rims are expensive, tires are quite expensive, and you could kiss your gas mileage goodbye..

I love the color. I bought a Plum-colored Subie back when the Impreza first came out...my wife almost left me over it, lol.

yea 18's to big for that car and i love my gas mileage lol but yea i was thinkin black 17's between 5-15 spoke wheels possably chrome lip with black spokes that would be a classy look for the car i think and i can get good deals on tires from discounttiredirect.com i get a discount from them so tires should not be a big deal but im probably looking to spend between $200 for a used set up to say less than $800 for a new set(without tires)

fyi. most if not all new mazda's use the same 5x114.3 bolt pattern.
so u can use mazda miata rims, mx5, RX8, mazda6, etc rims....
but i since ur car is purple....stick with some light colour rims...
so...um, geeze purple is a hard colour to work with.....
