Passenger Window not working

Newbie here....For some reason my passenger window doesn't work anymore. It doesn't matter if I try the switch on the passenger door, or if I try from the driver side door. It started acting sporadically and could never pin point the exact cause. I was thinking it was a fuse, but all of the other windows work. The car is still as is when I bought it new in 2007 (except for regular maintenance work).

Any ideas as to what could be the issue? If I need to take it to a dealer any ball park figure on repair?

2007 Mazda 3 hatchback ~75K miles on it.

Oh... I forgot...

There isn't any type of noise like what other people have reported. Also when it did work sporadically, it was fully functioning: up/down, could stop midway, etc.

When you press down the button, listen to hear if the motor is running. Let me know what happens.

I do not hear a motor sound, just the clicking of the button when I press down/pull up. Ironic that it hasn't worked the last 3 months (didn't really need to with this crazy weather we're having) but yesterday wouldn't you know it worked. However, this morning it didn't work again.

Only the passenger? I'd probably start with popping off the interior door panel on that side and having a look. If that's all good, I'd look at the switches.

This happened on my RX-7. I ended up having to replace the DRIVER'S side switch to fix the passenger's window.
