After a lot of comparison shopping, I decided exactly what car I wanted - a 2006 Grand touring model with AT in copper mica red. The only problem was some idiot on a cargo ship didnt adjust the ballast correctly and some 4,000 M3's tipped on their sides and were destroyed. My dealer checked his computer and said there wasnt a car like i wanted in the entire state of california. 3 days later I do a search on usamazda.com, and in 30 seconds find the exact vehicle about 60 miles away. Ran over and after a lot of haggling (their first offer was $32K incl tax, lic and ext warranty, I almost broke out laughing) I got them down to $1K below MSRP. (24k out the door)
I've had the car for 3 months now and I love it. It is fast and fun to drive.
I really love the Hi-intensity headlights, they are the best I have ever seen. The only problems i have with the car is with the leather seats, there isnt much lateral support, also the center console is kind of close to the gas pedal and my leg keeps hitting it, gets annoying on long drives.

Welcome and congrats on your purchase. I'm glad you burst out laughing when they offered $32k. I mean that's just ridiculous.

I wish I had HIDs on mine, but I was kind of limited in finding one in lava orange so I had to make an option cut.

Any plans for your car?

EDIT: Oh yes, Mz3 please. M3's are made by BMW. :P

Congratulations on your new car. I have exactly the same feeling with you about my Mz3. Except for being not as roomy as the competition ( corolla, civic, cobalt etc.) everything else to my opinion is better and I love it very much. I had mine a year ago but hasn't been using it that much because I drive a minivan daily. I only got 5T km. on the meter as of this time. I bought it for a little over 31T cdn$ tax inclusive.
