i dont know if this is the right spot, but i guess this will somewhat be an intro thread as well. i currently drive a 6speed MT 2004 Mazda RX-8 GT with sports package. It has the 2tone red/black leather seats. it's sunlight silver. pretty much stock except for the AEM CAI, HID's, metra kit, double din dash to replace the factory stock unit (kenwood dnx5120), two 10" kickers and an alpine amp. I'm looking to get a black Mazda 3 sedan. Just have a few questions regarding trim options and such. For example what's the difference between Touring i and Touring S? Is there a breakdown of the trim levels? On rx8club we have thread that explains that, couldn't find something similar here. Also i noticed some 3's had 2tone red/black seats or light sand colored seats (similar to the rx8's shinka edition seats). are those only available on certain trim levels? Also on the back bumper of the sedan 3's it's just begging to be a dual exhaust (at least IMO), is having dual exhaust possible? Thanks in advance for answering my n00b questions. haha

 

LOL! I thought I was the only RX8 owner looking into the Mazda3. Are you down-grading or is it a second vehicle? I LURVE my '04 RX8 (Black Widow) but it's time to part with my mid-life crisis toy and pretend to be a responsible grown-up. I'm snooping around for problems to watch for on the '10 that I may be getting tomorrow if the price is right.

yeah going down =[ i drive the 8 way too much.. it's addicting. and my wallet is suffering because of it. lol. and with the rx8 not being great on gas mileage and using premium... being 17.. i'm not made of money haha
