Nearing end of warranty

My 07 5-door is very near the end of its warranty. I purchased it on 7/7/7 and have just hit 33,000 miles (highest mileage per year for me ever--I've never before had a factory warranty end due to mileage rather than age). So far I have had really no problems with my car. They did replace the wiper blades for me once under warranty, though--just because they were worn out!

One thing that I had looked at once before without any resolution: a chemical smell in the A/C sometimes, particularly when running it after not having it on for some time. The service techs did notice the smell, but found no leaks and did nothing else.

Also, my tires are getting toward end-of-life. Still using the OEM Eagle RA-As, but will NOT be buying more of them!

My question is...is there anything I should have looked at or examine myself while the warranty is still good? What tends to wear out or fail right arround warranty time? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

If you find any gotchas please post... i'd just listen for any odd noises, like drive with the radio off at many speeds, over bumps etc...
I know my drivers window has more slop than the others and will chuck front and rear when accelerating / braking (only when it's partly down). But it was like that from day one and don't think it's a huge issue in any case.

Note if there's rust on the power steering, since the drain for the windshield cowl exits so it'll drip on it. Could be a rusting issue - I fixed my drain hose within the first week or so to keep it from rusing in the future.

Double check all the lighting, each LED in the tail light should be lit - if any are out it's an expensive fix.

If the struts / shocks are leaking that should be under warranty as well.

That's all I can think of, search the forum for other vehicle issues and see if any of those apply to your ride.
