Mazdaspeed 3 information

Hey guys, I am considering to trade my 02 Protege in on a new Mazdaspeed 3, and I was wondering if you guys had ay background information on it? I get tons of car mags, so I know the ins and outs of performance for the most part, but how is daily living with it? I heard that the engine is tearing itself from the mounts too, true?

Thanks guys, Any info is great!

I would recommend checking out one of the bigger boards for some info. I have been sort of tracking things with the car (my gf wants one, thinks they are "cute"!) and I have read about the engine mount problem. IIRC it is more to do with a mounting bolt backing out, not sure if this is due to improper torquing, poor selection of bolt grade or what. I am sure as with most recent Mazdas there will be replacement mounts offered, whether you get one or not just make sure the damn thing is torqued down correctly. Bottom line, it is a new vehicle and there are bound to be some teething pains, you just have to decide if you can live with them or not.
