I am considering buying a mazda 3.

quick question about the maintence package. the dealer said that it will cost $1000 for all maintence for 4 years. Is it worth it?

What is included:

Oil and filter changes every 5 months or 8000 kilometers.
Service checks and tune-ups as per the Mazda recommended schedule, parts and labour included.
Wiper blade replacement when worn out (maximum of two sets).
Tire rotation and balancing as per factory schedule.
All fluids and shop supplies for the above maintenance are included at the time of service.
Free Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Inspection.
What is Not included:

Tires— tires are warranted by the tire manufacturer. City Mazda services the tires until they are worn out.
Damage, abuse or theft.
Worn-out parts — exhaust, brake pads/shoes.
Wheel alignments.
Brake pads and brake shoes.
