just installed umnitza intake

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I Just installed my umnitza intake. It sounds pretty loud once you get above 4500 rpms. 1st gear is much smoother and is actually usable now. Fit fine but tight and took about an hour to install. I don't know about power gains because it will take some getting used to. The car is smooth through the entire range of the RPM so you don't feel that burst of torque at 3000 rpm. I didn't remove the resonator but I am surprised about the low rumble of the intake. It sounds stock in normal driving but you really hear it when you step on the gas.
Nice high quality product.
I'll have pics tomorrow or sunday if its raining

Heat shields are very cheap to make yourself.

looks like a double intake with a turbo. what kind of car is that? It looks like photochop to me unless you have a turbo on your mazda 3. If so your the first.

if you have a turbo why would you want the umnitza intake. It wont even fit in your car. That looks exactly like the hiboost turbo. How much did that custom turbo cost you?

look at what you are saying, i never said i wanted the intake i was just trying to find out, i like to know as much i as know about cars, another thing i was being nice, what if you psted that and nobody said nothing you will feel bad right.
and well i dunno if it looks like the hiboost turbo, i have never seen that one, mine i got it custom made in premier auto techniques on broward, fl right on palm and pines blvd, and it cost 2,500
