Interior Room

How much more Interior room do the 3's/6's have than the protege? - fixing to be a family of 5 (on Feb 5th) - might be some changes to the car lineup here @ home! - I wanna stick w/ a car (no vans!...)

or.. in other words, will 3 kids fit better in a 3/6?

From what I've seen the 3s don't have much more room than the Protege, but I will admit that I fit 7 people into my P5 this weekend (but I would never recommend doing that again, especially with your kids). But the 6s on the other hand seem to at least have a significant amount more leg room in the back than the other two, so I'm gonna say that the 6 is gonna be your car of choice here.

P.S.: How about a Mazda5, or is that too mini-van like?

My wife hates those! (too mini-van like )

Just look'n @ some options... would need to fit 2 booster seats/carseat - will probably just discuss w/ wife, and if nothing else, go to the local dealership... see if they will fit

WHAT?!?!? She told me she was wearing a diaphragm!!!

I'm not taking responsibility of another kid!!!

congrats Barry.

The 3S was much roomier than my previous P5. I really enjoyed the 3S a lot and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

speed3 would be too much temptation for me....although it'll look hella cool at our cheaha meet!

If you need room for car seats and stuff I suggest a 6i with the 5spd. When the time comes you want to mod it you can just buy some rods and the hiboost kit and make yourself 508whp.

There's a local 6S guy here talking smack to me....he claims to have a turbocharged 3.0L making 400whp. I told him to bring his checkbook. With 400whp through a FWD open differential tranny I'm not worried one bit about racing him from 0-100mph.

i find that the 3's dont have much rear leg room at all.
im also about 6 foot, and my dad is just past that, and im kinda cramped when i sit in the back (which isnt too often, cuz i drive the car 99% of the time)

yah, i would always be the one driving... Might just keep the cars we got (cheapest way out...) borrow the honda odyssey if we need the room - probably will not be going many places w/ all 3 kids @ once.
