Again, I just bought an 07 Mazda3 S 2.3L 5door GT on "Galaxy Gray Mica" Looks neat. I traded in my 04 mazda6. I didn't really get a good price on my trade in, but the new car is so superb that I forget all about it. It's on auto transmission, leather and all, again it's GT so I think it comes with everything even the Xenon. But I don't the navigation, since I just bought a nuvi660, so I figured I don't need an extra navigation.

Any advice on what to do with a new car? And I was going to put a K&N air filter, but I was reading on the forum somewhere, saying that the oil might clog up the engine, is that true? Any answer would be really appreciated.

no thats not true at all i have one on my car and my throttle is cleane as hell....it does not gunk nothing up idk who said that but it is wrong the oil is in the filter fibers and can not get out....unless you over oil it or put it in too soon after applying the oil

 

It's true if you over-oil it! People think that more oil=better protection. A light spray is all you need.

But I read it somewhere in this forum, about the complication about the K&N. Well, what'd K&N benefit you? Is it that much different with regular air filter? oh and another thing, what kind of light bulb would my mazda3 take? I mean I love the Xenon light, but it's not bluish. I'm thinking of replacing it, but I don't know what kind and where to buy. And is it really necessary to take it to the dealership to put it in? Since the manual says so.

Get a MAZDASPEED air intake, much better sound.
