How much did you pay for your Speed3?

Just sold my '07 S Grand Touring, looking into buying an '08 Speed3.

What was the sticker price and what did you end up paying for your Speed3?

Please specify Sport or Grand Touring.

Thanks!

Paid around $23,800 not including tax and license for my Speed3 GT. I think I got almost $1K off MSRP.

The MSRP on a GT at my local dealer is $25,000 plus a $2000 markup. I know $27,000 is ridiculous, I was going to try for $24,000, so your $23,800 gives me hope.

I went through the Fleet Manager when I got my car (I hate dealing with bs sales staff)...If you can't go this route, don't pay the mark up and negotiate to pay under MSRP...If you can get it for about $800-$1,000 under MSRP you did good and the dealer still makes money.

I paid $23,480.00 in Virginia for a 2008 MS3 GT.

The wisdom I have for you is to shop around - I think you are better off going to the dealer that has the largest MS3 inventories. The higher the volume of sales the lower the mark-up. If a dealer only has a couple they are not in a hurry to bend over. Don't be afraid to travel to get the car.

Good luck!

Hey guys new to the 3 club. I currently have an RX8 and a current member of RX8 club.

I'm now looking to buy a MS3 GT...i went to the dealer today with 5 down they asked for 480/month for 60 months or 29000 cash to buy i found these numbers pretty scary so im going to shop around more

im happy to see some people paying less than MSRP tho

hey bro, too much money if it is just the car without any accessories. i recomemd you to buy without any accessories (like: exhaust , intake, etc) because you can always buy them cheaper online. the GT should around 24k - 25k, less a discount because it is old.

Remember all dealers want to sale old model (2008) fast.

Here in west palm beach, there is a dealer that is giving $5000 off in any mazda... i don't know about MS3

Good luck and keep searching.

i love car shopping and dealing with salemen i find it fun. if its one thing i noticed dealers can always give you a car below ïnvoice¨ which is supposedly what they paid for it. i got my car 800 under invoice. dont go by the msrp. ask them right off the bat what the invoice on the car is. i have an 08 3 i like it but i wanna get rid off it. i think its a fun car to drive but doesn´t have enough go to it. on the ms3 mazda doesn´t really have special deals on the car becuase it is a limited production. so you may be better off looking into another car where you can get a good deal on it. and pay about the same. 350z starts at 27k and its a much sportier car. I am looking for someone to take over payments on my car and im going after an s2000. just in case anyone is interested im paying 310.64 a month. anyhow good luck with your car shopping experience and remember ¨the one who has the gold makes the rules¨you call the shots not them!!! and remember they will always give you a trunk liner mats a cargo net for free just make sure you mention it all after you guys have come to an agreement but before papers are signed.

Hey, sorry I abondoned this thread....

I also had an RX8...it was a 2005 Grand Touring. Sticker was $35,000, and I got it for $28,000. Unfortunately I sold the car 8 months later because of the horrific gas mileage I was getting...roughly 17mpg...mostly city driving. Decided to buy a 2007 Mazda3 S Grand Touring. Great car but sold it for the Speed3!

Anyway, I ended up buying my White MS3 GT on June 28 for $250 over the MSRP of $25,000. There was another couple there and we both wanted to pay under sticker...I didn't want to possibly lose the only White Speed3 in town so I took over the situation. Its a fabulous car, I have about 1500 miles on it and I can already say it is faster than the RX8!

financed a non GT(08) at 19,000.00 in Va. Company I work for gets a good discount from Ford, though it did not apply to the Speed, dealer gave it to me anyway.

Love my Speed
