High performance module...

I recently purchased a high performance module for my mazda3 GT 2.3 litre ride off ebay. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience installing this unit onto the engine coolant tempreature sensor? Or where exactly is the ECT??

Help!

do yourself a favor and throw it away. Next time you're interested in buying a mod for your car ASK FIRST.

That will do nothing but damage your car.

No big deal..

It's not really a big deal as it only cost me 25 bucks. How do you know it will wreck my vehicle? Experience? or did you just hear that third hand?

Well, that's 25 bucks you just threw away. Experience isn't always necessary when you understand the nature of a thing.

Seriously, we are here to help. So feel free to use the search button and ask if you are not sure.

I know these things because this isn't my first rodeo. I could write out a 2 page explaination of what you've bought but it's just easier for me to say "don't throw away your money".

It's a 4 cent resistor from Radio Shack. It's supposed to advance your timing a little bit for more power, but Mazda's ECU overrides those things.
