Headlight question + New Member

Well, to start.. I'd like to say hello!
This is the first Mazda my family has ever owned. I've always been in the BMW's or Benz'. I currently own a C63 AMG, the wife drives an ML63 AMG, and now the son who got his G2, now drives a brand new 2010 Mazda 3 2.5. So far the car seems to be great, and for who it's for, it serves it's purpose and then some. I wont say I'm disappointed, but I'm sure some can relate to this... using myself as an example, I've never had halogens in my cars. Always had Xenon and what not because of the class I'm able to purchase/afford, all of which come standard with them. I noticed the headlights are a bit lacking in terms of appeal and also brightness.

I was wondering if anyone has any information as to what options I may have to go with if I were to consider getting HID's in the Mazda.

Any useful information is appreciated.

Cheers!

Also, I'm not sure exactly where this would have gone being both a new member and one with a question.. so hopefully either a mod can move it, or it can be answered here; thanks!

I'd recommend a DDM tuning kit. I know alot of people who have used them with success. They are just plug and play using the bulb base that your vehicle is designed for. Then you just run the ground and power supply if required. (depending on the kit you get) Normally I'd be against it, but after seeing the cutoff on my 07's projectors, I feel confident it will not blind other drivers.

Just be very careful running HIDs in a halogen casing. The reflectors do not do good things for visibility in bad weather conditions.
