Question New member with a P5 question

I'm new to this forum and Just wanted to say hi.

My girlfriend (whom I have been with for about 4 1/2 years and plan to marry) has been looking a P5's. She has owned a 91, and a 96 Protege (both 5-speed dx's) and loved them both. She is at college most of the time so I have been researching the P5 for her.

We finaly got to test drive a white 5-speed yesterday and both thought it was phenomenal. We love the looks, suspension, engine, and moonroof. She will probably be picking one up in red, blue, white, or yellow in a month.

Now lets get on to my question. I have been reading reviews of VooDoo shift ***** from Miata owners. One of them said that he put one on his 99 ES and was told they fit the P5. I looked at the VooDoo web site and they say nothing about their ***** fitting Proteges. Does the Miata **** fit the P5s stick maybe?

Thanx in advance for the replays.

You learn something new everyday..... Always try the search option before you ask a question. It's probably there.
