hey everyone. i am a "new" mazda3sport owner ('"06) with all the bells and whistles for that year. i have had the car a month now and so far i am really enjoying it! two questions: first,how do i disconnect the seatbelt/door ajar chime/beep it drives me crazy! is there a single wire perhaps attatched to the ignition switch? second,one thing i have noticed and its not all the time but sometimes at idle it sounds like a diesel,not really bad just a bit "chuggy" is this normal for mazda engines.it idles fine but it almost sounds like when your engine oil is low,which it isnt. it just turned over 19,000.thanks

As far as the belt - I'd just put it on.

Can't say anything as to the idling sound.... mine sounds fine.

For the seatbelt reminder that's one of the things the dealer can plug up to the car and disable for you. Any particular reason you're driving without a seatbelt on? Aside from being illegal it's quite dangerous and I would advise against having the minder turned off... just wear the belt instead.

before i get attacked more. I WEAR MY SEATBELT ALL THE TIME !!!i take it off when i back into my parking spot AND if im cleaning my car i cant listen to music with the door because it beeps constantly if its in the acc.pos.
