Hi guy, I'm looking into the option to by 2005-2007 Mazda3 as a student car. What are the typical trouble spots? Is there an expensive repair typical only for this car?

I guess I'm not first to ask this question, but I can not find much on the subject. If somebody has a relevant link - that will be great.

Hi there!
Here in europe, the series from 2004 to 2006 before facelift, have the rustproblem first of all. Bubbles from below come up - easy to see... looks like the metallic paint gives a better protection. Since 2006 rustprevent is done on a better level.
