Aux Input removal

Aux Input removal
My girlfriend's Aux Input in her 2011 Mazda 3 no longer works. I've tried switching cables with no success. I current have taken off the cup holder, but am having issues reaching that aux input module. Anyone done this before? If so, how did you go about getting it out? TIA.
