I'm getting it tomorrow but I have another question for you Speed owners

The 18in tires they say summer radials now I live in ohio (we get snow) I know my stuff about tires but has anyone tried running the stock tires in snow?

If not what are you people doing putting "H" rated tires on? or going with a smaller wheel and a more well balanced all season type tire?

 

if i had a speed3, which i dont (sadly), id be buying some winter rims and tires for it.
i just wouldnt want the rims to get ruined from the salt and snow

and ps, i have all seasons on my stock rims, and they arent too bad in snow, but still not great. i wouldnt recommend summer tires in winter. what if some one cut u off?? and you slammed on the brakes?? ur summer tires sure as hell wont stop you, the guy in front of u would... lol

Agreed, my advice is also to get winter tires and rims.

 

ive got 16" rims and winter tires. stock tires suck! in the snow

 

Stock tires are a death wish in snow! I put 16" Blizzak's on my 3 five door and they are the same diameter as the 17" tires are so they worked just fine. Actually they are amazing in the snow, just amazing.
