Never mind. I found the 10th speaker by watching Mazda's bluetooth demo:

About 50 seconds in, there's animation showing sound coming from all the speakers.
The mystery speaker is in the middle of the dashboard, just in front of the information displays. Thanks anyway!

I just bought a 2012 Mazda3 sedan with the Bose sound system. The literature says it has 10 speakers but I can only find 9:

3 - in the back package shelf
4 - one in each lower door panel
2 - tweeters in front doors

Where's that 10th speaker?

It's probably a subwoofer hidden somewhere behind the back seats.

 

Look at your spare tire.

 

I realize there are 3 speakers in the "deck" of the sedan including the subwoofer...where are the other 2 "deck" speakers in the hatchback since the subwoofer is at the sparetire???
