I bought a 2009 Mazda 3 with with 79,000 on the odometer. I have had it for about a month everything has been tip top. Until a week ago 2 days after I last filled my tank up I had a CEL. I checked the code it ended up being a P0455. I checked the gas cap it was all the way clicked in but I got one just incase and switched it. Code never cleared on its own, so I checked the EVAP solenoid with a jump wire it had made clicking noises and the valve closed when I took away the jump wire. I’m now thinking I had a crack in the fuel pump locking ring. I went to check it out but can’t seem to find it where it says on most write ups and videos I see. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
